The customers who trusted us with their vehicles, their boats, and their hard-earned money when there were easier, cheaper options around. The neighbors who referred us to their friends. The fellow business owners who’ve built something alongside us here in Hood County.
We’re thinking about what it means to do honest work in a community you love — and how grateful we are to do it here, in Granbury, Texas.

When Cameron and I started OCDetailing in 2017, we weren’t the flashiest option. We weren’t the cheapest. What we were — and what we’ve always been — is committed. Committed to doing the job right, using the best products available, and standing behind every single vehicle and watercraft that leaves our shop.
That commitment doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It’s built on the trust of this community. And on this Independence Day, we just want to say: thank you.
Thank you for choosing a local, family-owned business over the quick-and-cheap alternatives. Thank you for understanding that real protection takes real skill. And thank you for being the kind of community that values quality work and the people who do it.
What We’ve Learned in 8 Years of Doing This
Eight years is a long time in this industry. We’ve seen a lot of detailing “businesses” come and go — guys with a pressure washer and a Facebook page who disappear six months later. We’ve had customers come to us after being burned by someone who didn’t know what they were doing, trying to fix paint damage that never should have happened.
What keeps us here — and what keeps us doing this the right way — is simple: we actually care about the outcome. Cameron cares about every surface he touches. Every coating application. Every PPF install. Every boat that leaves our shop looking better than when it arrived.
That’s not something you learn overnight. It’s something you build over eight years of showing up, doing the work, and never cutting corners — even when cutting corners would have been easier.

On this Fourth of July, we’re proud of a lot of things.
We’re proud to be American — to live in a country where two people can build something from nothing, earn the trust of their community, and make a life doing work they’re passionate about.

And we’re proud to be Granbury’s own — a small town with a big heart, a beautiful lake, and a community that shows up for each other.
